Rent Assistance

If you are struggling to pay rent due to a temporary hardship, L.E.A.P. may be able to help you stay in your home and avoid eviction.

Utility Assistance

If you are behind on electric, water, gas, or other essential utility bills, we may be able to provide support to keep your services connected.

Medical Assistance

Unexpected medical expenses can create financial stress. Assistance may be available for qualifying medical needs and emergency situations.

Disaster Assistance

If your family has been affected by a fire, flood, storm, or other disaster, L.E.A.P. may be able to help with emergency needs and recovery expenses.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply?

You may qualify for assistance if:

  • You are experiencing an unexpected financial hardship.
  • You live within 20 miles of a physical MOC location.
  • You can provide documentation related to your emergency.
  • Your situation meets program eligibility requirements.

Each request is reviewed individually. Meeting the basic requirements does not guarantee assistance, but we encourage you to apply if you need help.

To help us process your application as quickly as possible, please be prepared to provide:

  • Proof of address
  • Documentation of your emergency or hardship
  • Copies of bills, invoices, or notices related to your request
  • Any other documents requested during the application process

Having these documents ready can help reduce delays.

Our Process

Three steps from application to decision

Application

Submit an online application with all required information. Applications reopen the first of each month and close one all funding for the month has been exhausted. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Review

A member of our team will review your application and required documentation. We may reach out to request more information. Please note, we will not hold funds while you secure additional documentation and funding may be depleted if there are delays getting the proper documentation.

Decision

Submit an online application with all required information. Applications reopen the first of each month and close one all funding for the month has been exhausted. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis.

If you are approved …

Funds will be sent directly to the entity you owe (e.g. landlord, water company, hospital) via check. We do not give the money to the individual requesting and we cannot expedite payment.
